Indecision can be dangerous.

ZEBRAS IN ROAD - Madikwe Game Reserve, South Africa

Quotes to consider:

“Indecision is the seedling of fear” – Napoleon Hill

“The risk of a wrong decision is preferable to the terror of indecision.” – Maimonides

“Indecision is like a stepchild: if he does not wash his hands, he is called dirty, if he does, he is wasting water.” – African Proverb

Ah, Naomi, I remember those three guys!! When I was a little girl, I decided I wanted to have a zebra instead of a horse. I could not figure out why I never saw a picture of anyone riding one – even in National Geographic. The answer finally came when I could ask a guide (Greg) in Madikwe Game Reserve – about 50 years later!

About indecision…my wise ol’ mom used to say, “The wound to yourself is not in making a wrong decision, it’s in NOT making one.”

And one time I asked the President of a major financial operation, Canada Trust, what he did when he learned critical NEW information that impacted a decision he had already made. He said calmly, “I change the decision.” That has had a huge impact on my courage and my life.

Love you lots, Naomi, my writer friend! – Amy

Thank you so much for your precious encouragement, Amy – deeply appreciated!

It’s wonderful to share so many great memories from Madikwe. We had the pleasure of Marc staying over with us twice in the past week or two, which was really cool (in transit to a head rangers’ course in KZN). In fact, he’s invited us up for a visit, so we’ll try to fit one in soon 🙂

Thanks also for your endorsement of decision-making, which I’ll keep on applying in the query process!

Bountiful blessings & beauty to you, xx
